I had cause today to just sit quietly and think about all that I have to be grateful for. And it was really quite wonderful to grab my felt pen and just let it run riot across my whiteboard. I was amazed at just how quickly it flowed & continued to flow with so many things thatI am grateful for.

Smiling is good - Laughing is GREAT !
I am sitting here with a grin from ear to ear (which is pretty much how I spend most of my days - smiling, laughing and having fun). But this morning's smile is even wider after I saw a little movie on youtube that just had me in a total state of joy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-94JhLEiNO
And I realise that "happiness", and being in a constant state of "joy" is simply a choice! We can choose to wake up and be constantly in a happy state and no matter what happens during the day to try and knock us over, our happy state of being simple over rides all else. Isnt that just so cool?

What makes a "successful" Home Business?
With so many "Work From Home" Opportunities out there in the market place today HOW do you go about finding a suitable, legal, ethical home based business where you actually DO EARN MONEY ?

3. There are Network Marketing Opportunities available where, when you make the sale and you retain the entire profit – you do not have to share your profit with anyone (and when we’re talking about profits of $1000 - $8000 in any one particular sale). So what else should you be looking for?
4. Look for a business opportunity that has a solid background
5. Look for a well paid compensation plan, not something that requires you to build a downline of literally 100’s before you can begin to earn a min. 5 figure income
6. Look for ‘runs on the board’ – ethical, honest and recent income testimonials
7. Look for a “system” that is easy to follow, can be set up quickly and is easy to duplicate. You can have the greatest product on earth – but without a great “system” that is proven – all you have is a product (probably sitting on your shelf!)
8. Look for an opportunity that does NOT require annual ‘requalification’, minimum purchases or volume requirements, stocking or warehousing of products in your cupboards.
9. Due your own due diligence! The internet can be a great tool BUT remember that can be a positive & sometimes negative tool depending on what you choose to read. Don’t go with the ‘gossip’ or ‘rumourmongers’ online – form your own opinion based on the FACTS put before your and your own ‘gut feeling’
10. Be sure the business you are about to join is in an area that you enjoy and believe in – in other words you really want to be a ‘product of your product’ ! Whatever that products happens to be!

What is The Secret ?
I'm very excited that "The Secret Part 2" is due to be released very soon! Surprisingly, there are still people out there asking "So what is 'The Secret?' Why has there been so much media attention about this movie?"
"The Secret" was released on DVD in March 2006 and Time Magazine quotes the DVD sold 500,000 units in the first 6 months. Two years later, and it still sells well over 5,000 copies a day! It was ranked Number 1 on the New York Times best seller list for 10 weeks only being knocked off the perch by Harry Potter!
Originally when launched in Australia it was only available via a few Personal Development websites and of course through www.thesecret.tv website. Today The Secret is available on DVD, audio and in book form. You will find copies of the book on every reputable bookstore's shelf, and even in the book section of your local BIG W - it's that popular. Certainly a great example of "word-of-mouth" marketing at it best ! (I personally own a copy of all three - the DVD, the book and the CD's. Although initially the DVD had a profound impact on me, I found the book became even more valuable than the DVD and the CD's are great for in the car)
So why has "The Secret" been so successful? Put simply it is a movie that has the power to "transform". It can help to open a person's view on life and consequently those 'laws of life' will no longer be the same after watching this movie. I recall December 2006 when I first watched The Secret, sitting there crying, actually no - that should read 'bawling'. It was one of those "WOW" moments that totally opened up my eyes, and in a heartbeat I had this incredible sense of Gratitude to Rhonda Byrne and the whole team for making this so called secret a breakthrough for so many people, myself included in my own personal development journey. A journey I have been on for over 20 years.
Just as the 2004 hit movie "What the Bleep Do We Know" became almost a cult movie, the movie of The Secret has created such waves that it has already been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Larry King Live, the Ellen DeGeneres show and in Australia has been featured on both the ABC and was aired on Channel 10 to a huge viewing audience in February 2007, bringing The Secret into the homes of many Australians.
At the core of the movie is a central philosophy called "The Law of Attraction" In fact the Producer, Rhonda Byrne, was inspired by this "law" after reading a book called "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles. This book was written in 1910, and due to the popularity of The Secret was reprinted in 2006 & 2007 (there has no doubt been more reprints since) more on that book in a future post

Direct Selling with Liberty League International - Vs. MLM businesses
Let me say before I even get into this post, that I am so incredibly excited and thrilled to be a part of such a supportive and inspiring community of like minded people.
Liberty League International is a "breath of fresh air" - with DAILY doses of Inspiration !
I had been a very successful Network Marketer with a Multi Level Marketing Company for 7 years, so when the time came to 'expand my horizons' it seemed a very logical choice to join a reputable company that focuses on Personal Development. However, it took a little while to get my 'head around' the difference between a business that was Direct Selling and Network Marketing and yet it was not MLM !
So for those that are struggling to work out the difference, let me try & clarify and clear up a few misconceptions.
The biggest misconception about Network Marketing is that this is the same thing as a pyramid scheme. Nothing could be further from the truth. A pyramid scheme is strictly a money game. Remember those chain letters? There is no product just money changing hands in the hope that it will filter back to you and you will suddenly get rich. Although some of the newest pyramid schemes have a product, it is obvious that it is just a flimsy disguise for the same old money game.
Network Marketing is a legitimate and potentially lucrative business. Like any other business you will not get rich overnight. If you are willing to put forth the effort, you will reap the benefits. You will be building an organisation providing real products or services.
Direct Sales is selling of products or services to consumers directly. There are no middle men like a dealer or distributor involved.
Getting started in your own home based Network Marketing Business is very affordable, unlike the Tens of Thousands of Dollars required to go into business should you decide get started in a franchise style of business. With Network Marketing, there are no big start up costs, no minimum quotas and no special skills required to succeed. It is a perfect work from home business which can allow you to take advantage of the tax advantages associated with owning your own business. It is a people-to-people business that allows you determine your own level of success. The more you are willing to put into it the more you will get out of it.
In most MLM's, when you make a sale you earn a 'retail profit' from the product you are retailing. That is one area of income, (how many people can you talk to in a 24hour period?) So the "leverage" income is derived by building a downline. When your downline is 'producing', you can earn a percentage from their production. So your income (& this is where the big money is) comes through royalties and bonus' paid to the Distributor based upon the the 'production' of their downline, but also based upon your own production. Your "upline" also earns a percentage from the work that you do. So to generate a 'decent' income (I'm talking 6 figure income) you need to build an Organisation of literally hundreds of distributors! This can take some considerable time and effort! (dont get me wrong, I'm not against MLM, I believe that it is a suitable vehicle for many people IF you are prepared to stay a minimum of 3-5 years putting in some solid ground work to develop those hundreds within your downline)
Liberty League International - a Direct Selling Company - has the profits stay with the person making the sale. Quite simply - you make the sale, you earn the profit.

How do you create the lifestyle you deserve?
Truth is - many people just don't realise they do deserve more than they have right now.
Each & everyone of us were 'Born to be Rich' and yet, somewhere along that path we took as we grew up, listenening to our role models, teachers, bosses, parents and so on "something" held us back.
Did we somehow manage to simply accept that to lead an ordinary, average life is OK? Did we somehow settle for 'just getting by'? Or that we should be happy with all that we have "under the circumstances"?
Ouch !
So the posts here as the blog develops will unfold to show that YOU, Yes YOU, absolutely CAN have JOY, and BLISS and ABUNDANCE in your life. You CAN live an abundant life and lifestyle in every sense of the word "abundance" .
